Pan Am Boeing 747 Cutaway Diagram Poster, Popular Mechanics

In the bottom left corner of this poster it states "Art Concept Created for Popular Mechanics by Ed Valigursky, Fred Wolff, Howard Schafer, Roger Metcalf and Peter Trojan."

The bottom right corner has the Pan Am logo and states "Pan Am Flight Insignia. All 747 Command Captains will wear these wings."

The poster shows a cutaway diagram of a Pan Am Boeing 747 aircraft. Outtakes show the turbofan engine, the auxiliary power unit, and the landing gear. The poster measures 17.5 by 9.75 inches and is in black and white coloring.

The poster is not dated but my thoughts are that it could be from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. The reason I say that is because the first 747s were flown in 1970 so if this is an "Art Concept" the original would have been from before that. But, that also depends on when this poster was printed. The collapse of Pan Am came on December 4, 1991 so this would be from before then.

You may be able to see in my photo that there are two faint vertical lines, one a third of the way over and the other two thirds of the way over. Those are not folds as there are no folds in the poster. My guess is that when these were produced they would have eventually been machine folded and those would have been the guide lines.
