This cute dachshund weiner dog's original purpose was as a ring holder, but there can be many uses for it.
I purchased it at an estate sale. I couldn't determine an exact age for it, but at the sale there was a small sticker that estimated the date to be 1950s to 1960s.
It is turquoise in color and has red eyes. It stands approximately 4.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches nose to tail, .75 inches wide. I'm pretty sure it is made of cast iron. One of the back legs is marked with "Revere Inc. U.S.A."
There are missing dots of paint. If desired, it could be repainted.
