This hand drum is known by several different names. Some call it a spinning hand drum, some call it a twirling hand drum, and it's also known as a spin monkey (but I've yet to figure that one out).
I obtained it at an estate sale. The seller stated it was her uncles. She said he lived in New Mexico and that when he passed away in 1979 she traveled with her dad to help clean out his home. She said she brought it back at that time. Unfortunately, no one knows how long the uncle owned it before it came in to the seller's possession. It's also unknown if it's Native American made, but there are many tribes all over New Mexico and it certainly has that look to it.
I believe the condition to be very good. There are no tears, cracks, or breakage in any of the material. It stands 7 inches tall and the drum portion measures 3.5 inches across. It is double sided and the sides of the drum are covered with rawhide.

Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
