The Wells Fargo Legendary plush horses are modeled after actual work horses used many decades ago. I recently purchased a collection of these plush horses at an estate sale.
This is Maggie. Maggie was a work horse from San Francisco California. Maggie's claim to fame is that in 1909 at age 25 she represented Wells Fargo in the first annual San Francisco Work Horse Parade. The San Francisco SPCA organized the Work Horse Parade to demonstrate that responsible treatment of animals paid dividends for businesses that depended upon them.
She is wearing a black bandana with the Wells Fargo logo and it also has the logo from the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. The parade logo is because of Wells Fargo's sponsorship of the 2008 Rose Parade. She also has a rose on each side of her head attached to her harness. She comes with her paper tag that tells her story and she has the tush tag.
Maggie measures about 16 inches nose to tail and stands about 13 inches ear to foot. She is pre-owned but has no rips or tears.

Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
