This listing is for two booklets. One is titled "McNairy County Tennessee History & Biographies" and is from Goodspeed Publishing. The other is titled "A Brief History of Chester County Tennessee" written by S. E. Reid.
The McNairy County booklet was originally published by Goodspeed Publishing in 1887, this reprint (dated 1990) is packed with names of McNairy County pioneers and complimented by a history of the county. Softback, 27 pages, 8.5 by 11 inches, indexed.
Just to repeat, this is a REPRINT dated 1990.
The Chester County booklet is not dated. Written by S.E. Reid, he states on the 2nd page that Chester County was formed in 1882 and he then says he will attempt to describe the conditions and people from the previous "forty two years". So, going by that I assume he wrote this sometime in the mid 1920s. However, this booklet was not printed in the 1920s….. THIS IS A REPRINT but undated. It is softback with 16 or 17 pages, measuring 8.5 by 11 inches.
Regarding the Chester County booklet - I purchased these myself at least 20 years ago. I don't remember who I got them from, but I'd imagine it was the publishing company. When they arrived, they look to be photo copied, meaning they are not bound as a booklet would be. But, that's how I received them, so that's how I will sell them.
Also, I have two sets of both these books. One of the Chester County booklets has all the surnames highlighted. Unless you let me know otherwise, I'll send that booklet with the first order that comes in.

Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
