This publication contains the complete texts of wills registered in Bedford County from 1847-1881 as compiled by WPA Workers. It is WPA (Work's Project Administration) official project number 65-44-1427. It is softcover measuring 8.5 by 11 inches and contains 66 pages. It was offered from Mountain Press, Signal Mountain Tennessee. (See below for names represented).
The book was originally written June 19, 1936. I do not know the reprint date on this book that I'm offering, but I've owned it for about 40 years. I do not know if the wills that are contained in this book are all the wills filed within the time frame of 1847 to 1881.
Along with the actual will, you will find names of children, spouses, brothers, sisters, aunts, nephews, slaves, aunts, uncles, and friends. You will find maiden names and married names. No changes have been made, the wills read exactly as written. Some of the writing is a little difficult to read unless you know how to interpret the way people wrote back then.

I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items will safely fit into a single box. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
