This beautiful tortoise (turtle) comes from Artform Fine Collectibles, which is part of the family of decorative collectibles from Objet d’Art. It is 100% hand made. It’s made of hand poured pewter, painted, then adorned with authentic Austrian crystals and European enamel lacquers.
The base color is golden brown. It has a hinged lid that securely closes using a magnetic point. It measures roughly 2.25 by 1.75 inches and is just the right size for earrings, or ring, or any small piece of jewelry.
Condition: There are no chips, breakage, or missing stones. There also is no original box.
The age is unknown to me because I purchased it at an estate sale. The collection that I purchased consisted of close to 80 hinged trinket boxes, most in their original boxes marked “Objet d’art” and “Work of Art”. There were all types of animals, old cars, plants, etc. I will be listing them all as time allows so be sure to check my other items.
