This empty cigarette tin measures 5.75 inches side to side, 3.75 inches front to back, and is 1.25 inches tall. Ive been watching for comparison listings for the last couple of months and have only found 2 others with this design. One stated a date of 1920s and the other stated a date of 1940s. I obtained it at an estate sale, but the owner didnt know any facts about it.
Originally, this tin held 100 Egyptian cigarettes. The outer front side has 2 five cent tax stamps from the state of New York. The right side has an additional tax stamp that I believe is an IRS tax stamp because it says IR on it. Inside, the lid has 16 pictures, but I do not know what the purpose of those are.
For its age, which is anywhere from 70 to 90 years old, its in great condition. The lid fits just fine and there are no major dents. There is a bit of scrapeing, mainly at the very edges. The biggest blemish is on the top where there are two scratches towards the left side.
Shipping will be from Arizona via USPS First Class Mail Parcel. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $5.20.

Items in my listings come from estate sales, garage sales, or various auctions. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
