This beautiful trinket box is titled “Blue Iguana” and was made by Artform Fine Collectibles for Objet d’Art, Work of Art. It was assigned collectible number 156.
The Grand Cayman Blue Iguana is a critically Endangered Species lizard.
The trinket box is 100% handmade of pewter and decorated by Austrian crystals and fine European lacquers. It measures roughly 1.5 inches tall by 4 inches long by 1.75 inches side to side. Inside is a compartment for storage. It’s a perfect size for earrings, or a ring, or any small piece of jewelry or collectibles. An embedded magnet keeps the box securely closed. It is hinged.
It is new, never used, and will come in its original box and Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The label on the bottom of the box is dated 2009.

At one point "functionally extinct" this creature with the help of a massive conservation effort has recovered to about 300 specimens. Blue Iguanas can live to 70 years and is one of the most endangered in the world. We made this tribute 100% by hand, faithfully reproduced in metal and crystal to preserve forever the image of this prehistoric gentle reptile.
