There are several items included in this listing. Recently I purchased this souvenir booklet at an estate sale. Inside the booklet there is a program titled "Inauguration Ceremonies for Pat McLaughlin, Chairman Standing Rock Sioux Tribe". This program is dated October 28, 1977 with a location of Wakpala, South Dakota.

Next, there was a page or two from 'The Globe" dated December 29, 1981. I don't know if 'The Globe" is still around, but I believe it was like the National Enquirer that is out today. I'm guessing that this page from The Globe was in the booklet because it has sections on Indian astrology and fortune telling.

The main attraction of this listing is the souvenir booklet. The book, "Indians of the Western States" has full color illustrations of the Indians in Western America. The booklet measures 6 by 9 inches and has 24 pages. There are some very nice and historical photos in this souvenir book. I can find no date on this booklet, but researching it online I see references to the 1940s and the 1950s. Where those sellers came up with those dates is unknown to me.

There is no table of contents for the book, but flipping through it some of the highlights I see are:
Kiowa Indian artist Monroe Tsa-toke
Photos from Navajo territories
Navajo women's clothing and baby supplies
Apache bead maker
Quillayute canoe maker
The Industrious Indian
Makah basket maker
Navajo rug maker
San Illdefonso and son Popovi's famous pottery
Bread baking
Drying fruits and vegetables from rooftops
Ceremonial dances and attire
Black Elk
Indians on the warpath
Sioux, Acoma, Hopi
Indian Chiefs in full attire
Indian villiage
Indian maidens
Pascal Charlo, Flathead Indian
Charlo Montana
Pend Oreille Indian
Indian symbols

SHIPPING CHARGE INFO:
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.

Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.

International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
