There are 2 photos here. Looking at my main picture, the photo on the left is a tintype that measures 4 by 5.5 inches. It shows 2 women with similar features so I'm guessing they are probably sisters. The tintype has a small bend in it and the extreme corners are bent also.
Again, looking at my main picture, the photo on the right is the hard card stock type. It measures about 4 by 5.5 inches also. This photo shows 3 women. To me, the 2 women on each side resemble the 2 women in the tintype photo. There is an older woman standing between them and I'm guessing that is probably their mother. The back of this photo does have writing. It says:
Ann America Cowles Goy
Lydia (unknown name) Cowles
Sarah Cowles Samuels Bickel
This photo is a little dirty on the front. I would have tried to clean it, but I've no idea what to use on it without the possibility of causing more damage, so I'll leave that to the next owner.
There are close-ups of each photo below.
I purchased them at my local flea market. Being a genealogist, I always try to get these photos back to their families but so many of them do not have any names, locations, or identifying features. But if they have a name, I try to help them get back home.
