A few months ago I purchased a beautiful antique crushed velvet photo album at the flea market. These 15 photographs were inside the album. I only wanted the album so I'd love to be able to return these photos to the family that they belong to.
If I had to guess, I'd say the photos are from a date range of late 1800s to early 1900s. The smaller photos measure about 2 by 3.5 inches and the largest photo measures about 5.25 by 7.5 inches. Just about all of them are on heavy cardboard or pressboard backing.
Only 2 of the 15 have any writing on the back. One of those is the photo of the gentleman with the bushy mustache. What's confusing about this one is the back says "Mrs Record, 714 S. Steuben", but it's a picture of a man. I checked that address on google maps and it did come up as being in Chanute Kansas. That matches what's across the bottom on the front. Along the bottom of the front it lists the photographer's studio as Wertz & Son, South of Oriental Hotel, Chanute Kansas.
The second photo that has writing on the back is the one of the young man in the light colored cap. His picture is in the lower left corner of my main photo. The back of it says "Theo Record, Theodore Record Ch...... Kansas. For that city in Kansas, all I can make out of the spelling is the first two letters of "Ch" and since the other photo states Chanute Kansas I'm assuming that is what is also on this photo.

SHIPPING CHARGE INFO:
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
