This is one of several Native American made rings purchased recently at an estate sale. The display case they were in had an information card that stated the rings are from 1950s New Mexico. It also stated they have tested as 925 sterling. The rings are not marked and I do not have the supplies to test them, so I'm taking the seller at their word regarding the sterling content.
I do not know which tribe to attribute this ring to, but researching it, I found two others exactly like this one and they both were stated to be Navajo.
The ring in this listing has two types of stones, coral and turquoise. The stone chips are set mosaic style. Some refer to this style as inlaid or embedded. The length on the top is 1.5 by 3/8ths of an inch at the widest point. The outer edges of the ring have a twisted rope design.
Using a caliper and a ring sizing chart, I have determined this ring to be a size 4 to 4.5, small in size and probably best used as a 'pinky'. I used a polishing cloth on it but didn't get carried away.
Condition: In my opinion, the ring is in wonderful condition. The shank (where your finger goes through) has a slight degree of being off center.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
