The Sundowner Hotel Casino was located in downtown Reno Nevada. It opened in 1975 and closed in 2003. The press releases announcing the closure blamed the opening of Indian casinos in Northern California for the lack of business.
This standard size coffee cup is from the Sundowner. It is cobalt blue in color with gold writing and highlights (the whitish areas that you see on the cup are from reflections). Both sides have the same drawing that shows a cowboy carrying his saddle, a couple of Saguaro cactus', a steer skull, a wagon wheel, and the words 'Sundowner Hotel Casino Reno Nevada'.
There are no chips, breakage, or fading on the drawings.

SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their “Delivering for America” plan in which they hope to become profitable. It’s a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we’ve got years to go with multiple price increases each year.
