Torino Pewter Cat with Kittens Jewelry Set and Trinket Box

The trinket box is in the shape of a cat and measures about 1.5 by 1 inch at the widest points. When you remove the lid you'll discover that the lid is actually a brooch. The two little kittens attached to the side of the cat are removable and become a pair of pierced earrings. Inside the trinket box you'll also find a cat pendant and necklace. They all match and make a set. A very cleaver design!

A note about the necklace: The chain measures 15.5 inches long from end to end. The chain is a very bright silver color, so the original chain may have been replaced recently. I have no knowledge of that though because I obtained this at an estate sale and there was no one to ask.

As for a date on the set, if I had to guess, I'd say probably 1950s to 1960s.

Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.

International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
