Knitting and Crocheting books and magazines were very popular back in the early to mid century. Crafters could purchase them for as little as 10 cents. Each had numerous patterns and with each pattern there would be directions, many with diagrams, and there would be a list of materials needed, including what type of needles, ribbons, hooks, fasteners, and anything else you'd need to complete the project.
This listing is for 4 vintage knitting and crocheting booklets. They are, as they appear in my photo:
Left side:
Bishop's Young Fashions, Book 1, dated 1951, 49 pages, 36 projects
Right side:
Jack Frost. Volume 47, not dated but most likely 1940s, 31 pages, 38 projects
CONDITION:
The Bishop's Young Fashions book is in great condition. The Jack Frost baby book was well used. The cover has small pieces missing and there is scotch tape in several places. It's all here, just not in wonderful condition. Both books have a previous owners name inside.
I will be listing several sets of these vintage craft books. I would say they are in very good condition. There may be a fold or two, a dog eared page or two, and I believe just about all have a previous owners name on the cover, but overall they're in really good shape.
