This cute giraffe is made of wood, mostly round dowel type pieces. The dowels for the legs and neck are 3/8ths inch round. The tail dowel is 1/4 inch round. The body varies and is about 2 inches at the widest point. The head also varies from a little over 1 inch down to 1/2 inch at the nose. The nose is pink. The horns on the top of the head are nails.
All along its back there are pre-drilled very small holes. I don't know the purpose of these. At first, I thought maybe the giraffe was a tooth pick holder as the holes would be the perfect size for tooth picks, but I just don't know if that is the purpose.
I obtained it at an estate sale so I have no information about its age. I suspect it's from the 1960s, but could be a little earlier. I say that because it has a sticker on its belly that says "Japan". The sticker is the type that was used in the 1950s and early 1960s.
Also, it will be mailed unassembled, but it takes probably less than 10 seconds to insert the dowels into the holes.

International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
