This pin was part of a large lot of over 700 military DUI DI insignia pins purchased at an estate sale. The seller was an avid collector of military items and he specialized in the WWII and Vietnam era.
Unfortunately, I do not know the date of this pin. I do know that this unit came in to existence in 1968 and I've seen this pin listed at being 'vintage', so I'd guess it's from the late 1960s to 1970s.
The card that it was attached to states "Air Defense Art Sch".
It measures 1-1/8ths inch across by 1-1/8th inch tall. It is gold in color with a red, white, and blue enameled background. It has the unit motto of "Militant" on the front. The back is marked N.S. Meyer Inc. Made in U.S.A. The back also has two shields and within one of those shields there is the number 22M. The back has a double clutch holder.

Although small, when wrapped it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch for normal envelope mailing. Delivery will be via USPS First Class Mail Package. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $3.95.

International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
