This pin was part of a large lot of over 700 military DUI DI insignia pins purchased at an estate sale. The seller was an avid collector of military items and he specialized in the WWII and Vietnam era.
I have two of this exact pin, both exactly alike except for the maker's name on the back. Unfortunately, I do not know the date of the pin, but they appear to have been around for quite a while so my guess would be either Vietnam or WWII time frame. They are in good condition with no chips or major scratches, but they are slightly dingy. Probably a good polishing would brighten them up.
The card that it was attached to says "Ordnance School". It measures about 7/8ths inch side to side by 1 inch top to bottom. It is enameled and is red, orange, and black with gold colored highlights. It shows a cannon ball or bomb, and some type of lantern.
Again, I have two of these pins. They are both marked on the back. One is from Vanguard, the other from N.S. Meyer. If you have a preference on which pin you'd like, just let me know. The back has a double clutch holder.

Although small, when wrapped it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch for normal envelope mailing. Delivery will be from Nevada via USPS First Class Mail Package. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $5.75.
