This United States Air Force insignia pin was part of a large lot of over 700 military DUI DI insignia pins purchased at an estate sale. The seller was an avid collector of military items and he specialized in the WWII and Vietnam era. Unfortunately, I don't know the date this pin was made. The back does have a number of PWII, but does not state who the maker was.
The pin measures 7/8ths of an inch across. It is enamel on brass. The back has a single clutch holder. It would have been worn on uniforms, but would be a great way to honor a friend or family member in the Air Force service.
You will receive the actual pin that you see in my photo. It is in excellent condition and even looks to be in new condition.
Although small, when wrapped it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch for normal envelope mailing. Delivery will be via USPS First Class Mail Package. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $5.75.
SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges.
