110th U.S. Army Replacement DUI insignia pin. It has the motto “ADAPTING TO THE NEEDS”. The pin measures just about 1.25 inches. The back is marked ‘NS Meyer Inc. New York M22 Made in USA’. According to the Office of Heraldry that mark means it was made from 1965 to 1967 which would put it in the Vietnam era.
The pin was part of a large collection of insignia pins that I purchased at an estate sale. They are attached to a small thin cardboard square. The writing on the cardboard was put there by the previous owner and that's great because I can't imagine how long it would take me to look up and obtain information on over 700 pins. The previous owner wrote "110th Replacement” on the cardboard holder.
Buyer to pay USPS First Class Mail parcel delivery charges of $5.95. Shipping is from Arizona. Since I am in the west, most packages have to travel farther, resulting in a small increase in postage.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases the shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year.
