113th U.S. Army Field Artillery DUI insignia pin. It has the motto “Fidelis Et Fortis”. The pin measures just about 1.25 inches. The back is marked ‘P-23 Made in U.S.A. According to the Office of Heraldry that mark is from the time frame of 1965 to 1978 which would include Vietnam War time. The pin has double clutch holders.
The pin was part of a large collection of insignia pins that I purchased at an estate sale. They are attached to a small thin cardboard square. The writing on the cardboard was put there by the previous owner and that's great because I can't imagine how long it would take me to look up and obtain information on over 700 pins. The previous owner wrote "113th Infantry” on the cardboard holder.

SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their “Delivering for America” plan in which they hope to become profitable. It’s a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we’ve got years to go with multiple price increases each year. I try to absorb some of the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year, unfortunately, I have to increase the shipping.
