38th U.S. Army Infantry DUI insignia pin. The pin measures roughly 1 inch by 1.25 inch. It has the motto of “The Rock of the Marne”.
CONDITION: The pin is in great condition with no major scrapes or scratches. All enamel and metal pieces are present with no chips or cracks. The back has one clutch holder. Usually there are two holders, but this pin stays in place with just the one holder.
The pin is part of a large collection of insignia pins that I purchased at an estate sale. It is attached to a small thin cardboard square. The writing on the cardboard was put there by the previous owner and that's great because I can't imagine how long it would take me to look up and obtain information on over 700 pins. The previous owner wrote "38th Infantry" on the cardboard holder.
