This pin was part of a large lot of over 700 military DUI DI insignia pins purchased at an estate sale. The seller was an avid collector of military items and he specialized in the WWII and Vietnam era, but unfortunately I can't narrow down the date on this pin. However, it is definitely an older pin and certainly looks like it could be from the WWII era.
It measures 1.25 inches top to bottom and is enameled. There is a very slight bend about 1/8th of an inch from the top and I don't know if that's normal or not.
Sorry about the blurriness of my photo. For some reason I just can't get a clear picture. The pin is clear and is in excellent condition.
Is has a letter P within a circle on the back. I have read that the letter P marking designates German made. It also has a double clutch holder on back.
Although small, when wrapped it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch for normal envelope mailing. Delivery will be via USPS First Class Mail Package. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $4.99.

Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
