65th U.S. Army Infantry DUI insignia pin with the motto of “Honor Et Fidelitas”. The pin measures just a little over 1 inch.
The back is marked “D22 Denmark NY 10012 Made In USA”. According to the Office of Heraldry that mark means it was made from the time frame of 1965 to 1978 which would put it during Vietnam time. The pin has double clutch holders.
I have two of these pins. They are exactly alike. If you would like them both, just change the order quantity to 2.
The pins were part of a large collection of insignia pins that I purchased at an estate sale. They are attached to a small thin cardboard square. The writing on the cardboard was put there by the previous owner and that's great because I can't imagine how long it would take me to look up and obtain information on over 700 pins. The previous owner wrote "65th Infantry” on the cardboard holders.
