70th U.S. Army Training Division DUI insignia pin with the motto of “Trailblazers”. The pin measures just about 1 inch.
The back is marked “P-23”. According to the Office of Heraldry that mark means it was made from the time frame of 1965 to 1978 which would include Vietnam War time. The pin has double clutch holders.
The pins were part of a large collection of insignia pins that I purchased at an estate sale. They are attached to a small thin cardboard square. The writing on the cardboard was put there by the previous owner and that's great because I can't imagine how long it would take me to look up and obtain information on over 700 pins. The previous owner wrote "70th Training Div” on the cardboard holders.
