82nd Aviation Regiment DUI Insignia Pin. When I obtained it, it was attached to a small homemade cardboard square. Written on the cardboard it says "82nd Aviation". That would have been written by a past owner.
The pin measures about 1 inch. On the front, along the bottom, it reads "Ground Air Mobility". The back is marked "D-22 Denmark N.Y. 11101 U.S.A.". The back has a double clutch holder.
You will receive the actual pin that you see in my photo. It is in wonderful condition with all coloring being just as vibrant as the day it was made. There are very faint scratches, but you have to look hard to see them.

I obtained a large lot of pins recently at an estate sale of a man who was a very serious pin collector. I was told he served in Vietnam so that was the time frame he specialized in but that he also collected pins from as early as WWI, WWII, and Korean War time frames. Unfortunately, I don't know which time frame this pin is from.
This gentleman is moving into an assisted living facility, so his estate is being liquidated. The large lot of pins that I purchased consisted of 723 pins that he collected. I will list them several at a time in between my normal estate sale finds. If there is a particular unit's pin that you are searching for, just let me know because there's a good chance I'll have it.
