The long gone Alpine Village Inn was located at 3003 Paradise Road, across the street from the Las Vegas Hilton. This famous place began serving German food in a downtown location in 1950, then moved four times before settling into its final location on Paradise, in 1970. The iconic Alpine Village Inn was a Las Vegas landmark for 27 years. Alpine Village Inn closed its doors in March 1997.
This swizzle stir stick measures 6.25 inches long. It is designed with the restaurant's logo and colors of shiny royal blue on a white plastic background. In the same area as the logo, in very small letters, it says "Since 1950". The words "Las Vegas Nevada" is printed on the swizzle. Printed on the back, also in very tiny letters, it says "Stir-it USA".
Although small, when wrapped for protection it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch and cannot be mailed in a standard letter envelope. Delivery will have to be via USPS First Class mail package. The delivery charge is $4.15. Shipping is from Las Vegas Nevada.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT POSSIBLE PARTIAL REFUND OF SHIPPING CHARGES
Every January the postal service increases shipping charges. Previously, shipping charges were based solely on weight and a package cost the same amount regardless of where it was being shipped to in the United States. This year they went a bit overboard. Now, with this year's increase, the postal service has divided the United States in to 8 zones and all packages are charged by weight, size, and destination zone. Now it is not possible to state a shipping cost and have it be valid regardless if the package is traveling 2 miles or all the way to the east coast. This latest increase has added an additional .46 cents to up to $1.43 on packages. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
To complicate things even further, Google will not show items for sale unless they have a designated cost, or unless the seller uses calculated shipping. My web host is not equipped to figure calculated shipping, so I have to quote a shipping charge using the east coast as the final destination and then refund over payments. When I return the overage, I usually do so by including cash inside the package when it's shipped. My feedback page will show verification that I do return overpayments.
COMBINED SHIPPING INFORMATION
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can fit safely into a single box. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap and on top of that, this year Paypal started charging a currency conversion fee of 4.4%. International shipping now depends on the destination country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
