I wish I knew the city location for this old photo. The only writing is on the back and it says "Mr. Sawyer". There is no other identifying marks or information on it. I purchased it at an estate sale, so no way to ask about it.
All there is to go by is that the store is named "Pacific Auto Tire and Tube Co" (the word 'Pacific" leads me to believe it is at least on the west coast). Next to the tire store is "B.B. Market, Grocery and Delicatessen". Way off to the right and behind the man standing by the car, in the distance a cable car type of vehicle can be seen, so this is probably San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, or some other large city. In the very lower right corner in small letters it says "A92".
The actual photo measures 9-3/8ths by 7-3/4 inches. It is applied to a mat. The mat measures 12-3/4 by 10-3/4 inches.
Because of the automobiles, I'm guessing that it dates to the very early 1900s. In my opinion, it's in remarkable condition for its age. I see one very small dent just above the last car on the right side and up by the wires. I don't know that you can see it in my photo though.
It would be a great conversation piece to hang in a tire store, or for someone who just loves old automobiles.
It will be mailed by USPS First Class mail from Arizona. Cardboard protection will be used and the envelope will be labeled "Do Not Bend". Buyer to pay $6.45 delivery charges.
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items will safely fit into a single box. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year. I try to absorb the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year unfortunately, I have to if I want to stay in business. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the increases when possible.
INTERNATIONAL PURCHASED: Sorry, I do not ship to locations outside of the United States.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they come from homes where smoking or pets were present. Unless otherwise stated, all items are sold in the same condition as when I obtained them.
