This set of cast iron wall pockets came off a Victorian Home in Oakland California that was being demolished. The home was built in the late 1880s to early 1890s.
I am discounting the price due to an upcoming move.
The pockets have rust on the inside and several layers of old paint on the outside. They have a flat open back. The inside of both is marked with the number 87C18. At the bottom of each is a hole where they would be attached to a wall with a long screw or bolt.
As for size, these aren't real easy to measure, but they are roughly 5 inches side to side and 3.5 inches tall. If I had to compare the size to something, I'd say about half of a large cantaloupe. I believe these were made by Wilton as they have several very similar patterns.
