First off, let me say that I am in no way joking about the use of seat belts and how they save lives. My title of "possible comical use" refers to the purpose that I purchased the belt for. I've always had an odd sense of humor so let me explain my reasoning..
I bought it with the intent to attach it to the wall behind the bathroom toilet, half of the belt on each side, just like if it were in a car. I thought it would be a hoot for a visitor to ask to use the restroom and then listen for the laughter coming through the door. So, that was my purpose, but I never attached it.
The seat belt looks as if it's never been unrolled. The brackets are still in a sealed package also. But, I don't know if all the parts are here or not. As a result, I'm not advertising it as a seat belt, I'm listing it to be a fun "comical" item.
If the buyer installs it and uses it in a vehicle as a seat belt, they do so at their own risk. I have disclosed that I do not know if it's complete or if it's even a lawful automotive item any longer.

ABOUT THE PACKAGING:
The seat belt, the hardware, and the instruction paper will not be packed in their original box that you see in my photo. If I leave them in their box, it will not fit into the small flat rate box and they'd have to be mailed by regular Priority mail for about $6 more in costs. However, all items, including the original box will be sent.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year. I try to absorb the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year unfortunately, I have to if I want to stay in business. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the increases when possible.
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items will safely fit into a single box or envelope. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they come from homes where smoking or pets were present. Unless otherwise stated, all items are sold in the same condition as when I obtained them.
