This beautiful bald eagle trinket box was made by a company named ‘Treasure It’.
It was made of pewter, hand painted, then enameled. The eyes, as well as under the wings, are highlighted with clear rhinestones. The box is hinged and has a magnetic closure. At the widest points, both tallness and across, it measures 3 inches. The inside bowl is about 3/8ths inch deep with additional open space inside the upper portion. It’s just the right size for earrings, or ring, or any small piece of jewelry or collectibles.
The age is unknown to me. It is one piece of a collection of about 80 hinged trinket boxes that I purchased at an estate sale. There were all types of animals, old cars, plants, aircraft etc. I will be listing them all as time allows so be sure to check my other items.
Condition: There are no chips, or breakage. There also is no original box.
