I believe this belt buckle would be for a woman's belt. I researched it for quite a while and found the same design on a much larger buckle and that larger one was listed as being for a man's belt. The larger ones also carried a price well past $100. Most all put a date on the buckle as in the 1930s to 1940s range.
The buckle is marked on the back "Sterling 1/10-14k". The consensus seems to be that the silver portion is Sterling, and the gold colored horse head is 14k gold plated.
The buckle measures 1.75 inches in both directions. The opening in the back that the leather would attach to is 3/4 inch.
I purchased it at an estate sale, so have no knowledge of the amount of usage it's seen, but the buckle is in wonderful condition and was well taken care of over the years.

I gladly combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can safely fit into a single package. It is best if possible to contact me first to let me know which items you'll be purchasing so that I can adjust the shipping charges, otherwise at checkout you will be charged the full shipping fee for each item. Should that happen, and if appropriate to do so, I refund a portion of those charges.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING depends on the country. Buyer must contact seller for shipping quote before making purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
