Bernat Handicrafter books and magazines were very popular back in the early to mid century. Crafters could purchase them for as little as 10 cents, up to a whopping 50 cents. Each had numerous patterns and with each pattern there would be directions, many with diagrams, and there would be a list of materials needed, including what type of needles, ribbons, hooks, fasteners, and anything else you'd need to complete the project.
This listing is for 3 Bernat books. They are, as they appear in my photo:
Book 163, dated 1953, 7 pages, 5 projects
Back row, left:
Book 35, dated 1953, 33 pages, 16 projects
Back row, right:
Book 48, dated 1955, 25 pages, 12 projects
I will be listing several sets of the Bernat Handicrafter, and may throw in an additional title along the way. I would say they are in very good condition. There may be a fold or two, a dog eared page or two, and I believe just about all have a previous owners name on the cover, but overall they're in really good shape.
Delivery will be via USPS First Class Mail from California. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $4.15.
