The Magic Crystal Chess set was manufactured by Tudor Mint for Gorham Pewter and has been out of production for years. This is a single piece of the set and is the piece known as the Black Queen.
The piece is solid pewter and is complete with the "crystal orb ball". The crystal ball is a single Swarovski faceted crystal. It has a protective felt piece on the bottom. It stands just over 2.75 inches tall. I have duplicates of many pieces, so if you need more than one just look at the box showing the quantity to see how many I have.
The Queen is dressed in a floor length cape. The cape has markings that probably have magical meanings. The base she is standing on is surrounded by skulls. The crystal ball that she is gazing into is sitting on a leaf entwined tall pedestal.
I purchased what I thought was a complete set at an estate sale but once I got it home and started researching it I discovered the set was missing about 6 pieces. So, I figure there's probably people out there that have lost a piece or two of their set, so I'll sell the pieces I have individually and help them build their set back to completion.
Keep in mind that although these were originally chess pieces, there are many people who collect gothic items. One of these statues would make a great gift.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year. I try to absorb the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year unfortunately, I have to if I want to stay in business. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the increases when possible.
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items will safely fit into a single box or envelope. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment.
