This Boy Scouts garrison or flat hat is estimated to be from the 1930s to 1950s era. I've seen others where those dates are mentioned. I know it's not any earlier than 1930 because 1930 is the year the process of sanforization of material was invented and the cap is stamped inside "Sanforized".
Other markings on the inside of the hat include: "Official", then has the logo, then says "Sanforized, Medium, 6-3/4 to 6-7/8". It then has a place for a name. The name is faded but I can see the letters S GAROFF.
The cap is in incredible vintage condition. There are no rips, tears, or fading. The outside has the Boy Scouts embroidered emblem and the specs are stamped on inside.
