These 8 pair of chopsticks are from a collection that I purchased recently at an estate sale. Each pair measures about 10 inches long. They are all exactly alike. There are no sleeves.
The upper area has a design, but I'm not sure what the design is. The top tip has about a half inch of what I believe is copper. They are made of wood, possibly bamboo.
The estate seller stated these to be from the 1970s. I asked if they had been used because the very tips at the bottoms seem to be worn on all of them. I was told they have not been used and that the worn area is applied on purpose before the sets are even sold. That keeps any splinters from appearing and coming off into the food. That makes sense because the length of the worn area is the same size on all of them.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year. I try to absorb the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year unfortunately, I have to if I want to stay in business. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the increases when possible.
