It features a glimpse of Denver from the early years to 1939 through stunning historic photos and historic images from the 1800s to 1939. It is a hardcover archival quality book with 184 pages. It is a limited edition collector’s item. It measures 11 by 9 inches and is indexed. It was produced by the Denver Post.
It includes photos from readers, in addition to photos carefully selected from the following organizations: Denver Public Library, Molly Brown House, Black American West Museum, Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum, Forney Museum of Transportation, Denver Athletic Club, Denver Firefighters Museum, Colorado Railroad Museum, Colorado State Archives, Colorado Society of Hispanic Genealogy and Denver Police Museum.
It is in like new, excellent condition.
Buyer to pay $6.89 USPS Media Mail delivery charges. Delivery is from Arizona.
The delivery method I am quoting is for USPS Media Mail. Media Mail is the most inexpensive method that the post office offers, and is for items like books, music, etc. The problem is that since it’s the most inexpensive, it’s also the most delayed as far as expected delivery time. I’ve had Media Mail packages take over 3 weeks to be delivered. We do have the option of mailing it by USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate packaging which should take 3-5 days for delivery, but that rate would be about $8 more. If you prefer Flat Rate shipping, let me know and I’ll adjust the invoice before payment is made.
SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. Previously, shipping charges were based on weight and zip code. Now, the postal service has divided the United States in to 8 zones and all packages are charged by weight, size, and destination zone. This year's increases have added an additional 1.36 cents to up to $4.03 on packages. I try to absorb some of the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year, unfortunately, I have to increase the shipping. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the changes when possible.
