This heart shaped dish (or tray) features casinos in the downtown area of Las Vegas Nevada. It shows the Golden Nugget, Bingo Club, The Mint, the Horseshoe, and probably several others. Around the outer area for about a half inch it says “Las Vegas Nevada” and shows about every type of gambling devise.
The dish measures 5 inches across, is probably brass, and is stamped on the back “Made in Japan”. There are no dings or scratches. I have not polished the dish, you will receive it just as I did.
The dish is old, my guess is that it’s from the late 1950s to early 1960s, but not past the 60s. I spent some time trying to research a date of when the phrase ‘Made in Japan’ was in use, but could not narrow it down. I did see reference to it beginning in the 1950s decade, but could not find an exact date.
