This postcard shows the front view of the El Rancho Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. The card is not dated, but going by the cars shown I'd guess its from around 1956.
The front of the card shows the hotel, the driveway, the tower, and the sign on top of the building that says Opera House, Casino, Restaurant, and Saloon. I believe that last word is saloon, but I'm not positive.
The description on the back states:
El Rancho Vegas Las Vegas Nevada. A Las Vegas landmark. The first luxury resort hotel, established in 1941, and still the mecca for tourists. It is Las Vegas" only hotel in the Western manner both in architectural style and feeling. Top name entertainment appears nightly in the old fashioned Opera House. The 66 spacious acres consist of individual bungalow arrangements, as well as conventional hotel rooms.
The card is postally unused.
The card measures roughly 3.5 by 5.5 inches. It's very bright in color. The card has straight even edges. The card has a divided back, meaning one side for the address and one side for writing a message.
I recently purchased a few dozen older postcards at an estate sale. The subjects of the cards are in and around The Las Vegas area. They are of 'old Vegas" and many are of the old casinos and hotels that have long ago been demolished. CONDITION:
I am not a postcard collector and don't know how to 'rate" postcards. Personally, I think the card is in great condition for being over 60 years old. I can see that there are tiny bumps to the corners, but they are so small that I can't get a measurement.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year. I try to absorb the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year unfortunately, I have to if I want to stay in business. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the increases when possible.
