This gorgeous fan is from an estate in Beverly Hills. I was told it was a souvenir that the past owner brought home from a trip to Portugal in the early 1970s. In fact, she brought a couple fans back, but this listing is only for the fan pictured. The other one will be in a separate listings.
It has a floral motif that is possibly embroidered on. It's about 16 inches wide when opened, by 8.5 inches tall. The bottom portion is made of wood, as are the 'spokes" on the back side of the upper portion. The upper area is made of some type of thick cloth.
It has never been used. It's been wrapped and safely stored in a box in a drawer all its life.
You can use it for its intended purpose, but most people are using these for wall art now.
