Jacob's Ladder quilt pattern with stencil templates. From Best Loved Quilt Patterns Series by Oxmoor House Inc. 1993.
From the introduction:
This prize winning lap quilt, machine-pieced and hand quilted, was created as a study in color values. With careful planning and execution, the play of light against dark makes the 'ladder" really stand out.
About the series:
This is one of probably a hundred quilt patterns that I will be listing. These patterns were part of a monthly subscription series. Each month, the recipient would receive a pack of 3 different patterns. It took a couple of years to obtain the complete set.
The pattern and templates offered in this listing were designated in the squares and rectangles category. You will receive the brochure which tells the sizes, fabric requirements, the amount of pieces to cut, and instructions for piecing a lap quilt and a king size quilt. You will also receive the actual templates that is the exact size needed to cut all the pieces of material. The template is made of a hard, yet flexible plastic.
Note about the templates:
There are 8 templates for this quilt. The templates are printed inside the brochure and are printed on the flexible plastic. The templates are lettered A through D with there being 2 of each letter. I believe that the templates B and C are lettered incorrectly. B should be C and C should be B. BUT, I am not a quilter, so they may be right. I just thought I should mention it, just in case.
Buyer to pay USPS First Class Mail parcel delivery charges of $3.75. Mailing is from Nevada.
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items will safely fit into a single box. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year. I try to absorb the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year unfortunately, I have to if I want to stay in business. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the increases when possible.
INTERNATIONAL PURCHASED: Sorry, I do not ship to locations outside of the United States.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they come from homes where smoking or pets were present. Unless otherwise stated, all items are sold in the same condition as when I obtained them.
