This figurine is of a medical doctor. It stands seven inches tall. It is signed on the bottom with “Kelvin” (or could be Kelvin’s). It is also numbered B810.
The exact date that it was made is unknown. It was a piece included in the estate of a friend of mine’s mother’s belongings. My friend’s mom was married twice and her second husband was a doctor. They were married in 1965 and he had this in his office long before they married. So, all we know for sure is that it is pre 1965.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. It would make a great gift for a doctor or for someone going through medical school.

SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. Previously, shipping charges were based on weight and zip code. Now, the postal service has divided the United States in to 8 zones and all packages are charged by weight, size, and destination zone. Since I am in the west, almost all packages travel eastward, resulting in more postage. This year's increases have added an additional 1.36 cents to up to $4.03 on packages. I try to absorb some of the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year, unfortunately, I have to increase the shipping. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the changes when possible.
