This listing is for one dog tag. The tag states the name of R.J. Moore, his service number, USN, the letter O for his blood type, and PROT for his religion. It is standard military issue.
I do not know the exact date for the tag as I obtained it at an estate sale. I did research dog tags online and found on several sites the statement that in the early 1960s the military started using a soldier's social security number instead of their service number. So, going by that info, I'm assuming this tag is from before the early 60s. It could be from Vietnam War or Korean War time frame, but I have no idea of knowing for sure.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges.
