This postcard shows an inside view of the Mint Hotel Casino in downtown Las Vegas. The floor is full on the old time slot machines including a 'one armed bandit'. Just about all of the machines have the Mint logo or name on them. The 'one armed bandit" has a jackpot limit of $8

The card is not dated, but going by the way the people are dressed, and the vintage slot machines, I'm pretty sure the card is from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. The mint opened in 1957 so the card would not be from before that year.

Other than the machines and the people on the front, at the top it says "having a wonderful time, wish you were here", and at the bottom it says "one armed bandit and my Las Vegas payola".

The description on the back states:
"Gambling Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. A Colorful scene at the Mint, one of the most picturesque and popular casinos in downtown Las Vegas which is known as the world's largest gambling center. The visiting tourists keep the many slot machines in action 24 hours a day."

The card measures roughly 3.5 by 5.5 inches and has great color. The card has straight even edges. The card has a divided back, meaning one side for the address and one side for writing a message.

I recently purchased a few dozen older postcards at an estate sale. The subjects of the cards are in and around The Las Vegas area. They are of 'old Vegas" and many are of the old casinos and hotels that have long ago been demolished. I do combine shipping on multiple purchases (see shipping notes below), so be sure to check out my other items.

CONDITION:
I am not a postcard collector and don't know how to 'rate" postcards. Personally, I think the card is in great condition for being around 60 years old. There are no bends, tears, or cracking. The card is postally unused and has not been addressed or written on.

SHIPPING:
Buyer to pay $3.50 First Class Mail delivery charges. That cost will cover shipping for up to the purchase of 4 postcards.

I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items will safely fit into a single box. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year. I try to absorb the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year unfortunately, I have to if I want to stay in business. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the increases when possible.

INTERNATIONAL PURCHASED: Sorry, I do not ship to locations outside of the United States.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they come from homes where smoking or pets were present. Unless otherwise stated, all items are sold in the same condition as when I obtained them.
