This is an ruler for Mund’s Hatters Supply House in Los Angeles California. It measures 6 inches long by 7/8ths inch tall. It is made of wood. It measures by French Lignes and by inches. The front says “Mund’s Hatters Supply House Los Angeles CALIF. The abbreviation of “CALIF” is important in dating the piece because the postal service changed state abbreviations from 5 letters to 3 letters in the early 1940s and changed again to 2 letters in the early 1960s. That should date this ruler to the 1930s. The back of the ruler has a hat measurement chart.
The ruler is in beyond excellent condition with no breakage or scratches. All letters and numbers are very clear, like they were just printed.
