I obtained these 5 photos at an estate sale. I'm guessing that the time frame is the 1940s. He is in a U.S. Military uniform and I believe it to be the Marines.
Looking at my photo, the top row picture on the left has written on the back Ohmer F. Mitchell (Okie) Aug 5, 1940.
The top row photo on the right says "Lots of Luck To A True Friend" and is signed Okie.
Bottom row photo on left only has the number 3175 written on the back.
Bottom row center has 7-63 Springfield ILL written on the back.
Bottom row right says "To Gen With All My Love, Okie". I'm not sure about the Gen, but I believe thats what it says. Also, the two end photos on the bottom are alike except for the writing. The one on the right has pin holes in the corners.
I am assuming that since his nickname is "Okie" that he is from Oklahoma.
These photos were in an envelope along with about a dozen other photos. These were the only ones with any identifying information on them. There were photos of a wedding in Nottingham England that Ive already listed. The other photos will be listed as soon as possible.

Once cardboard protection is added for protection, the envelope will be too thick for regular envelope postal delivery. The photos will have to be mailed by USPS First Class package delivery. Shipping is from Nevada. Buyer to pay $6.45 delivery charges.

SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their “Delivering for America” plan in which they hope to become profitable. It’s a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we’ve got years to go with multiple price increases each year. I try to absorb some of the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year, unfortunately, I have to increase the shipping. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the changes when possible.
