Oval Handmade Copper Scarf Ring, A Fun Mar Original, OOAK

This scarf ring is extremely unique. According to a google search, it was handcrafted from solid copper sheeting around ‘the turn of the century’ (mid 1900s). It is marked on the underside with “A Fun Mar Original”. It measures almost 4 inches across.

The brackets on the back (where the scarf would slide through) have about a 3/8ths inch opening.

It is in excellent condition with no scratches or dents. In fact, it looks as if it has never been worn.

I purchased a few of these in various shapes recently at an estate sale. I’ve listing the other ones also. The seller at the estate sale said they belonged to her mother and she can remember her mother had them “for many years”.

The shipping charges are set by the U.S. Postal Service.
Here’s the reason for the high charges….. Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become more profitable.
On top of the three increases, the postal service has now divided the nation in to 8 postal zones. Each time a package crosses into another zone, the price increases. I am in Arizona, so most all of my shipments pass through multiple zones.
It's a 10 year plan that the postal service started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases of shipping charges each year. I fear seeing what the costs will be at the end of the plan. …..

I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can fit safely into a single box or envelope. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
