Everyone knows the story of the Popeye and his girlfriend Olive Oyl. This ‘Big Little Book’ can help you share the antics of the two main characters with new generations in your family. But it’s not just a book. According a statement on the front cover, it’s also a “Flip It Cartoons” book.
The book is an authorized edition Whitman book from Western Publishing Company of Racine Wisconsin. It measures 3.5 by 4.75 inches and has 249 pages. The book is copyright 1941 and this edition is dated 1973, so it’s almost 50 years old. I see a couple of pages at the back that have a small chip in the paper and at the upper right corner of the front cover there is a scrape.
The book will be mailed by USPS First Class Mail packaging. Buyer to pay $6.45 postal fees. If you prefer, I can mail it by Media Mail for about a dollar less, but delivery can take 2 to 3 weeks with Media Mail.
SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their “Delivering for America” plan in which they hope to become profitable. It’s a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we’ve got years to go with multiple price increases each year.
