Every sports fan has heard about, or seen "The Catch". Dwight Clark of the San Francisco 49ers made an almost impossible catch of a Joe Montana pass the give the 49ers the lead and win over the Dallas Cowboys on January 10, 1982 in the NFC Championship Game.
This 8-1/2 by 11 inch photo commemorates that catch. At the top it says "10th Anniversary" and the bottom say "The Catch San Francisco 49ers" and has 49er helmets.
The photo itself measures about 7-1/4 by 9-1/2 inches. The photo was originally a press photo taken on the day of "The Catch". I was told that around the time of the 10th anniversary that a photography studio took several of the photos, applied them to a black mat and added laminate. They were then offered for sale. I have searched all over the internet and can find no others that were ever bought or sold, so I guess people who purchased them held on to them.
I recently attended the estate sale of a huge 49er's Fan. I purchased some great photos of past players, some autographed. Please check my listings to see these one-of-a-kind private photos.
You'll notice in my photo that there are some whitish glares. I took the photo outside and no matter what angle I tried, I could not keep the glare of the sunlight out of the picture. There are no tears or major bends in the photo.

SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. Previously, shipping charges were based on weight and zip code. Now, the postal service has divided the United States in to 8 zones and all packages are charged by weight, size, and destination zone. This year's increases have added an additional 1.36 cents to up to $4.03 on packages. I try to absorb some of the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year, unfortunately, I have to increase the shipping. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the changes when possible.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
